I am a worship leader, photographer, traveler, pre-med student, and an unworthy servant of King Jesus. After a decade of bitterness (and certainty there was no God) because of a loss in my childhood, I encountered the Spirit of God while a non-Christian band played on stage. The band encountered the Spirit as well. I – along with many others – spent four hours face-down on the ground in worship that night. I have been in awe of Jesus ever since.
My ultimate calling in this life is to walk with people in the hardest parts of life, an area where most people’s instinct is to back away. I usually write about what Jesus shows me in those hard places. Recently included in the blog are words about my own hard, as my ‘second mama’ & best friend was ushered into Heaven gates after a 10-year fight with cancer.
I write about the goodness of Jesus in the victories & in the hardest parts, because I am ridiculously confident that it’s equally present in both.
